Identity for a James Beard award-winning chef's East Austin restaurant

Paul Qui came to us in 2012 to develop an identity system for his newest brick-and-mortar restaurant in East Austin. Previously known for his food trucks and work at other high-end Austin restaurants, as well as appearing on Top Chef, qui would be uniquely his own. Historically, he's worked with close friend and artist Peelander Yellow for murals and paintings, which would continue at qui, although in a more subtle way. We developed a simple, playful system that leveraged the large-scale art from the interior of the space on everything from menus and gift cards to blind-embossed business cards and the website.
